How Does the Newsletter Integration Work?
When a guest submits the registration form, two things happen simultaneously: the registration data is sent to Sweap as usual – the guest receives their confirmation or ticket email. At the same time, the Sweap Newsletter Connector transfers the newsletter data (email address, selected mailing lists) directly to your newsletter tool and triggers the configured double opt-in process.
The result: the confirmation email reaches the guest immediately after registration – clearly linked to the sign-up both in timing and content. The regular ticket and confirmation dispatch remains completely unaffected.

The Sweap Newsletter Connector can be connected to various email marketing tools. Direct integration with Inxmail is currently available. Further integrations are planned. Feel free to reach out if you are using a different platform.
Easy Setup
The technical connection is set up once via Sweap Support. The integration is then configured via a JavaScript snippet directly on the registration page – no development skills required. You will receive your personal newsletter API key and can start using the integration straight away.
Note: We strongly recommend including a clear notice in the form informing guests that, when activating a newsletter field, their data will be forwarded to the respective third-party provider.
